The process of preparing for a Violet Flame Clearing is really quite simply yet could present a challenge for some. All you really need to do to be prepared is to be willing to release that which no longer suits you. This could come in the form of negativity, limiting beliefs, or patterns of behavior.

I must stress this as being crucial because if you are not willing to release the issue there is no amount of work that I could do to release it for you. This is a reflection of every individual having free will. You have the ability to choose if you wish to hold onto the issue or release the issue at any point in your life. No other person will ever be able to release an issue for you without your willingness, regardless of what they might tell you.

This is why the last line of the clearing decree states, “Transmute Any Karmic Debris I AM Willing to Let Go Of.”

Now if you want to take the preparation a step further I would suggest identifying the actual issues you want to release. Lets say for instance that you have a difficulty saying no when friend or relative asks a favor of you even though you may not actually want to do that which is asked of you. This could be attributed to a limiting belief that has created a pattern of behavior which would ultimately lead to negativity.

So here we have one instance with three characteristics that can be cleared with the Violet Flame Clearing. First your limiting belief could be one of acceptance. It is possible you feel that in order to be accepted by others you must always respond to their requests for fear of rejection if you say no. This has turned into a patterned behavior because you end up always saying yes regardless if it is in your best interest to perform the favor or not.

 Ultimately if you are doing things that you really do not want to be doing you will have resentment for doing it and it leads to negativity surrounding the initial favor that was asked of you.

Next I would recommend identifying where in your energy system or chakra the present issue resides. In our example this would be a third or solar plexus chakra related issue. The solar plexus governs personal power, individuality, asserting oneself, having a sense of self, and believing in one’s self. Most likely while receiving the clearing you would feel activity taking place in this chakra.
