Here is a really cool exercise that I would like you to do right now that represents what I am speaking about.
Stand with your feet hip width apart and raise your right arm parallel to your shoulder. Now twist your spine around to the right as far as you can and determine how far your arm is able to point and make note of it.
Now come back to a standing position with you’re hands down by your side and just relax. Close your eyes and pretend that your spine is a slinky. Hold this vision for about a minute and repeat the same exercise as above.
Where you able to point even further this time? On average most people are able to increase their range of motion by one to three feet. What is this demonstrating?
